Empowering Families, Youth, and Children Across Communities
AusUnityAid is a not-for-profit community services organisation dedicated to supporting multicultural and CALD communities across Victoria and NSW, with a strong focus on African-Australian families. We're committed to building a more inclusive, equitable society through culturally responsive care, education, and advocacy.
Who We Are
AusUnity Aid was founded with a vision to create a more inclusive and equitable society for minority and marginalised communities in Australia. We believe everyone deserves access to safe housing, quality education, mental health support, and culturally appropriate care regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families, and communities through culturally responsive, practical support. We help people navigate life's challenges with dignity, through family support, advocacy, education, and community programs while building pathways to stability, wellbeing, and opportunity.
Our vision is a safe, inclusive, and thriving community, where every individual, regardless of background, has access to the tools, guidance, and support needed to grow, heal, and lead a purposeful life.
Our Core Values:
Cultural Respect & Integrity — We honour and celebrate the cultural identities of those we serve. We embrace and celebrate diverse identities, ensuring cultural awareness is central to all programs and partnerships.
Compassion — We lead with empathy and care in every aspect of our work.
Empowerment — We aim to uplift individuals and families so they can shape their own futures.
Accountability — We are committed to transparency and delivering measurable impact.
Empowering Experiences — We equip individuals and families with the confidence, skills, and resources they need to take ownership of their own future.
Community-Driven Action — We prioritise listening to and working alongside local communities to ensure our efforts are relevant, respectful, and sustainable.
Youth-Centred Support — We focus on guiding young people away from crime and toward opportunity through mentorship, education, and engagement.
